Around Rome
March 2014

Sarah had another meeting in Italy. Kermit wanted to go along. So did Jocelyn and Kendra.
Family road trip!

We began with a week in Rome.

The Trevi Fountain, an iconic site.

Sarah and the girls tossed a coin into the fountain.
It's said to insure that you will return to Rome some day.

The Spanish Steps, another icon.
On a pretty day it's a mass of tourists.

Anytime is a good time for gelato.
Above left and above, the Fountain of the Four Rivers in the Piazza Navona.

Left, specialty store for priests, cardinals, and popes.

Below, trying out an Italian cowboy hat.

Right, there are plenty of Vespas, cobblestone streets, and obelisks around Rome.

Below, the Borghese Gallery is filled with works by Bellini and Caravaggio.

Dinner at our favorite local restaurant, La Vacca M'briaca.
The name translates as The Drunken Cow.

We had beautiful weather the whole trip.
